The Workbench is in a bounded pilot and is not generally available. It has not been sold or licensed commercially to anyone, and no revenue has been earned. Nothing on this site is an offer to supply the Workbench, and no invitation to take part in the pilot is made here.

The Workbench includes full-text authorities. Permission to reproduce each one is tracked record by record. Rights acquisition is in progress during the pilot under owner authorization. No CanLII approval or blanket court clearance is claimed. Rights status does not establish legal accuracy, current treatment or proposition verification.

Current law should be traceable, not taken on faith

The Criminal Code bail provisions embedded in the Workbench were prepared as follows. The Bill C-14 bail reforms in S.C. 2026, c. 11 commenced on July 15, 2026. The package's target Criminal Code bail provisions are mechanically derived current through July 18, 2026 by applying S.C. 2026, chapters 11, 12, 15, and 19 to the Justice Laws consolidation current to June 14, 2026. Embedded text remains a research aid; current official sources must be checked before reliance.

Projected dates stay visibly projected

Detailed 2027 sittings are labelled projections from reviewed 2026 recurrence patterns, not published 2027 dates. They carry a confirm-with-court marker. The Workbench is not a live schedule service.

What has not been measured

No numerical pilot-performance threshold or measured result is claimed. Baseline first. Preserve every limitation. Advance only if the evidence supports it.
